What this Site collects, where it is stored, and who handles what.
Canopy Ridge Homeowners Association, Inc. ("the Association," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what information is collected through canopyridgehoa.org ("the Site"), how it is used, and how it is protected.
1. Information we collect
The Site does not require registration and does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We collect personal information only when you voluntarily submit it through forms linked from the Site, such as Architectural Review Committee requests (name, email, property address, phone, project details) or contact and volunteer forms. Our hosting provider may collect standard technical data such as browser type and server logs.
2. How we use it
Submitted information is used only to respond to your request, administer Association business, and meet our legal obligations.
3. Where it is stored
Form submissions are received by the Board and designated committee members and stored in the Association's secured Google Workspace environment. Access is limited to current volunteers with a need to know and is reviewed periodically.
4. Financial information
The Site never collects payment information. All payments and owner account data are handled by Tidewater Property Management under its own privacy and security practices.
5. Sharing
We do not share personal information except with the Association's management agent, professional advisors, or as required by law or our governing documents.
6. Records rights
Association records are available to lot owners as provided in Md. Code, Real Property § 11B-112, subject to its statutory exceptions for personal and individual-account information.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adult homeowners and residents and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this notice. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
